Maa Hingulaj
This Shaktipeeth is located at Hingula in Baluchistan which is the province of Pakistan. It is 144 km north west at the bank of Hingol river. Sati's mind or brain fell here. Maa Mahisha Mardini
This place is located at Kolhapur in Maharashtra. Devi's eyes fell here. Idol of Devi is called Mahishamardini and Lord Shiva is called Krodhis here. Mahishmardini Shaktipeeth, Kolhapur was formerly known as Karvir. It is situated at the borderline of Maharashtra, Karnatka and Goa. This place is said to be the sanctum of mata Mahalaxmi. Maa Sunanda
This Shaktipeeth is situated at village Shikarpur of Barisal, district in Bangladesh. Sunanda Devi temple (Ugratara temple) is located at the bank of Sugandha river which is 21 km north of Barisal district headquarter. Nose of sati fell here. Devi here is called Sunanda and Lord Shiva is called Triayambak. Shikarpur and Barisal is well connected by Bus from Dhaka railway station. Maa Mahamaya
"Him (snow)" Shaktipeeth is situated at Amarnath cave in Kashmir. Maa Sati's neck fell here. Maa sati is called Mahamaya and lord Shiva is called Trisandhyeshwar.
